Right of Withdrawal

This applies to consumers who take out the paid PRO subscription. The free plan is not a paid contract — there is nothing to withdraw from, and you can delete your account yourself at any time. This is a translation of the binding German Widerrufsbelehrung; in case of doubt the German version applies.

The trial and withdrawal

Starting the seven-day trial concludes the paid PRO subscription — it simply begins with seven days on which nothing is charged. The fourteen-day withdrawal period therefore runs from that day, not from the first charge.

That makes the withdrawal period longer than the trial: you can still withdraw after the first payment has been taken. If you do, we refund every payment received, as set out below.

Separately, you can cancel at any time. Cancelling before the seven days are up prevents any charge at all — no withdrawal needed for that.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post, or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Starting immediately, and what that costs you

PRO is unlocked as soon as the payment lands, so you can use it straight away.

We do not ask you to waive anything for that. Your full 14-day right of withdrawal stands, and if you exercise it we refund the whole amount — we do not deduct a share for the days you used it. In law we could ask you to request immediate performance and then keep that share (§ 357 (8) BGB); we would rather not put a consent tick in front of the payment button for the sake of a few euros.

The early-expiry rule in § 356 (4) BGB — where the right ends once a service has been fully performed — does not apply to an ongoing subscription in the first place, because a subscription is never fully performed inside those 14 days.

Cancelling is not the same as withdrawing

Withdrawal is a one-off right in the first 14 days. Quite separately from it, you can cancel the subscription at any time — in your account settings under Plan, which opens Stripe's billing portal. After cancelling, PRO stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged.
